Established in 2023, JMF has dedicated over a year to serving our communities. Our organization was founded in response to the pressing demand for trauma recovery services within our community, driven by systemic issues such as economic disparities, social inequities, and historical injustices.
We offer a variety of services, free of charge, to meet the needs of our community, including essential resources for recovery, focusing on a strong support system to empower survivors in rebuilding their lives. Our goal is to empower individuals and families to become self-sufficient and thrive.
Our current inventory consists of Diapers, Wipes, Sandals, and Shirts.
JMF Youth Empowerment Project is a youth-led initiative that works systemic factors contributing to gun violence among young people in the community. By providing opportunities for personal growth, skill-building, and community engagement, the project inspires to equip youth with the tools they need to make positive choices and effect change in their neighborhoods.
This program is for youth who have experienced trauma, including generational trauma, intergenerational incarceration, current or former foster child, on/off probation, youth of a split home, and who are seeking a laptop to support their educational, vocational, or personal development goals. We understand that life can present many challenges, and this initiative aims to provide a vital resource to help you overcome barriers and pursue your aspirations.

The Jacob Merlin Foundation is thrilled to announce our upcoming community event where we will be giving away free laptops to individuals and families in need. Our mission is to bridge the digital divide and empower our community through access to technology.
To make this event even more impactful, we want to ensure that attendees also have access to nutritious food while they are with us. We believe that providing a warm meal or refreshing snacks will create a more welcoming and supportive environment for everyone.
